Trying to set-up a mobile display (on my truck) for a Christmas light parade that will have identical displays on left and right side but obviously not viewable from one view.  How do you place models so that it will render properly?
Currently I just built the left side: 3 mini trees on bed platform, two snowflakes on doors and a polyline outline of truck.  I just place the right side models lined up in the air space directly above the the truck image.
Will this render acceptably so that the left side and right side look/perform the same?

Is there a better way?

Playing with 3D (a challenge thus far) but will this even work properly when you can't see the "other" side at all from the one viewpoint?

I don't know why you are even modeling the other side if its supposed to be a copy of what's happening.  Just sequence one side and then route the data to both sides.  In the controllers there are no rules saying the same channels can't be sent out multiple ports.

I assisted a 'mate' here who did this to his ute, but he wanted each side to do something differently on occasion.  I just treated the top half of the layout as the left side of the vehicle and the bottom half as the right side (I am very two dimensional it has been said ;-) and it worked a treat. If you're only duplicating though, Gilrock's suggestion is by far the easiest...
