Uploading to F16v3 Error
« on: October 12, 2019, 09:02:14 AM »
I'm running into a problem when uploading my xLights output to my F16v3. "Check Sequence" in xLights results in zero errors and zero warnings. I receive zero warnings when uploading the outputs to the F16v3. However, the resulting Port Configuration page on my Falcon webpage is a train wreck.

I end up with a lot of virtual Strings and most of my models aren't there. I also have several instances of individual Boscoyo Large Mini Trees appearing on multiple ports; i.e. "Port #3: Tree-2-str-2." "Port #4: Tree-2-str-3." Same tree but different str...I don't know what str means. I've set up these trees in xLights with #strings = 1, Nodes/String = 80, Strands/String =5.

Please let me know if any attachments would help. Not sure even what to attach. Thanks for your help!

It is normal for some differences when you upload as the upload does some consolidation and some splitting to get it to work. That being said it is also common for new users to not get their config in xlights right which results in a train wreck when uploaded.

If the whole thing is a mess I would jump into zoom. Much faster than sorting it out here.
