cannot save layout files

I apologize for my ignorance on this.  I just recently downloaded Xlight.  I cannot save any files.  i get a message cannot open  xlight_rgbeffects.xml error 5 Access is denied.  Ive tried reinstalling several times to no avail.  I've even tried older versions.  I'm running Windows 10. Any help would be appreciated.  Thank You

Where is your Show folder?  It needs to be a location you have write access so it shouldn't be under "Program Files" that is for your applications.

Thank you for the quick response. Yep. Show folder was in program files. I will move it and let you know. Thank you!
