Pi 3b and LOR AC Controllers

My laptop is on its way out and I see the Pi 3b May be the way to go.
My question is can the USB for my older LOR AC controllers simply plug into the Pi?s USB?
It doesn?t seem to make sense to put out the cash for a laptop if I don?t need to.

Im still  figuring out Xlights but have a new  falcon F16v3, expansion board and LOR controllers all working
Im just not sure how the Pi makes it all talk.

I believe it does, but I'm not 100% sure.  I'd suggest using DMX mode if possible.

The other option would be to use the DMX output on the F16v3 to control the LOR controllers in DMX mode.
