Effects Missing in all Views
« on: May 01, 2020, 03:15:42 AM »
Hello,
I've managed to solve so many problems by reading on this forum but now I have a problem to which I can't find the answer. Therefore I am hoping it is simple to solve and I've just blatently missed something.

My effects are missing from all (two) views. I was working on a sequence last week. Today I opened xLights opened the sequence I was last working on and the beat counts and timing marks appear, model view, house view appear but no effects. The weird thing is when I play the sequence the effects are showing on the attached leds (Just an ESP8266 for testing).
Have restarted, re-rendered all, updated to the latest version. No change. If I open up another show with another sequence all is working correctly.

I don't know what I need to do to get my effects to show up, please help!

thanks

Are the model lines there. Are you using the master view

Yes, everything else is there - the effect "Single Strand" does actually start at the first onset in the attatched image - which you can also see in the model preview and house preview (one white pixel) - the effect ist just not showing so I have no way to edit it.

Thanks in advance

when you open your sequence double click on your Window 1 and two. You have assigned your effects on Strand/Node Names that are currently hidden. You can also right click on the model and select toggle strands to see the effects.
