This is something I would like to try
« on: December 10, 2014, 07:15:17 PM »
I have a 24 string mega tree with a star 13 universes.   Works really well.

I would like to dedicate about 4 notes to each string from a piano used in a mp3. When the notes are played then that string would have a timing mark and I could adjust the string color and effect accordingly.

What to you think the best way would be to accomplish this.

I hope I said that correctly.

thanks
Brad

Have you looked at the piano effect in nutcracker?

I looked at it but probably not enough My first impression was that it is to create piano like keys as a effect. I guess my question was more in line with can I get something like audacity to look for specific notes and then give me the timing marks on the playing of those notes.

Like normal I am probable going at this backwards.

I will go back and look at the piano effect.

Thanks

I'm not sure about automatically but you could probably export the notes. Identify the specific note(s). Open the file in excel,  delete the unwanted notes. Save as text doc.
