Copy/Paste layer settings?
« on: October 14, 2020, 06:17:56 PM »
I have a shared sequence that has faces that I want to change from a horizontal matrix to a flat vertical tree.  I want to divide the tree into three layers so I can put one face on the top middle and bottom.  I can do this by moving the layer box top, middle and bottom.  Can I apply that to each column in a row somehow, instead of clicking on each one and moving the boxes?

Thanks,

Rob

So the best way I found was to edit the .fsq or .xml file and just cut and paste in the new coordinates.

<Effect>B_CUSTOM_SubBuffer=0.00x58.65x99.77x101.00,E_CHOICE_Faces_Eyes=(off),E_CHOICE_Faces_FaceDefinition=Skull 1,E_CHOICE_Faces_TimingTrack=Siamese_Lyric</Effect>
<Effect>B_CUSTOM_SubBuffer=0.00x58.65x99.77x101.00,E_CHOICE_Faces_Eyes=Auto,E_CHOICE_Faces_FaceDefinition=Skull 1,E_CHOICE_Faces_TimingTrack=Siamese_Lyric</Effect>

<Effect>B_CUSTOM_SubBuffer=0.00x29.00x99.00x70.00,E_CHOICE_Faces_Eyes=(off),E_CHOICE_Faces_FaceDefinition=Skull 2,E_CHOICE_Faces_TimingTrack=Siamese_Lyric</Effect>
    <Effect>B_CUSTOM_SubBuffer=0.00x29.00x99.00x70.00,E_CHOICE_Faces_Eyes=Auto,E_CHOICE_Faces_FaceDefinition=Skull 2,E_CHOICE_Faces_TimingTrack=Siamese_Lyric</Effect>

There are a couple of ways to achieve this. One is to use submodels then you don?t need to play with subbuffers.

You can also right click on the subbuffer and copy the subbuffer setting to all other selected effects. The equivalent of bulk edit.
