xSchedule output lags and freezes

Hi.
When I run my sequences on xSchedule all of my controllers (two ESP8266 running WLED) sometimes lag for a few seconds or less. xSchedule is running on Win10 and my network includes a wifi extender where the laptop and controllers are.
Any ideas?

This could be a lot of thing... Could be a wireless issue... Could be your machine going to sleep or other power saving feature... Other apps competing for resources on the laptop, etc.

Thanks Dave. I did try everything on the video but didn't seem to help.
Also both controllers lag at the same time, so I think it may be the laptop or my wifi setup.
Any other suggestions?

Can you take wifi out of the equation.
