Computer Crash Backups don't work

Need help with restoring after computer crash.
Downloaded the latest version of xLights 2020.57 the version that was on Crashed computer could have been as old as 2019.42.
When opening a show director all inputs are garbled (please see attached before and after photos attached).
All of the backup folders I downloaded from my backup server fail buy doing the same thing.
I tried three versions of xLights from 2020 with no luck.
any thoughts?

I don't see anything wrong with either of those files, but they are from two different computers with different networks defined.  You may have picked the rgb networks file from some downloaded/shared sequence.

those are from the same computer before and after the computer crash and installed new win10.
only difference was getting the show file from the backup server.
I cant see to figure it out.

Here are two more photos.
The before photo is before the reload of Win10, all programs working but xLights.
while the after photo is what xLights does when opening any show folder..
Do I have a setting wrong in xLights?

Its looks fine.  The new scheme is more of a one line per controller instead of one line per universe.  So it shows all 17 of your universes groups on that one controller output.  The channel count is the same.  I'd say it looks good.

and my version was from 2019 and have not caught up with you guys fantastic work on xLights. thanks!
Can you tell me what version made the change from Setup to Controller ?
