FPP Projector
« on: September 11, 2021, 09:41:33 PM »
Hello again!  I am still trying to add projector control to my show (for over two years) and I can't seem to get ON OFF control to work.  I even bought a new Hitachi short thro projector (was a dell before).  It has an RS-232 control port. I purchased a null modem cable (USB from Pi) to the port on the Projector.  I put a lead-in with ON the 60 second pause for warm up, then the sequence/show, the in lead-out the OFF for cool down.

No luck.  If I MANUALLY turn on the projector, it starts the video, but wont shut down.  I have added the projector settings on the Pi and included my entry in the Projector control via SSH and saved it.

Can you tell me what I missed or what I did wrong?  I have looked over the hex codes several times and they look fine. (See attached)

This would likely get a better response on the fpp forums.
