Whoa Wait.. stop!!!
The OP staid
Jinx! may be better than
Glediator. Both are just applications that create effects and output to a grid.
I have to agree that Jinx does have a smoother feel than Glediator and looks very very similar to Glediator. The output file on Glediator is
.gled and that is supported by XL/NC. The output file type by jinx is
.outand that file type is NOT currently a native supported file type / effect option in XL/NC.
I did a test with Jinx and saved and captured an effect and saved it to a .gled file and it did not play in NC. (I was hoping that the file output types were close/same and we could use Jinx today with NC)
There are few different effects in Jinx that are not in NC/Glediator that would be a welcome addition to the effects arsenal.
I would highly suggest/reqeust that .out be added as a supported input file just as .gled is supported.
