« on: December 06, 2015, 07:21:53 PM »
Fifth song finished with this AWESOME software, video is here:

I really need to get a better HD video camera with exposure reduction... there are so many cool colors in this song and the video just doesn't pick them up.  Oh well...

The other songs I've finished this year so far were covered here:

Thanks so much to everybody here for all of the help they have offered... Thank you so much to the developers for putting together an awesome piece of software!

This is the first year I have done this song after not doing music for several years (before this movie came out).  Like many people, I have a young niece that absolutely loves this song... so it was a must.  It ended up becoming one of my favorite sequences...

Sequence files are located in this thread:

Enjoy, constructive criticism welcome of course!

On to song #6...

It's clear you did a lot of pre-planning with the layout of your models. I love how you have that spinning effect (galaxy?) that crosses both the mega tree and the little trees as well.

Thank you!  Most of what is awesome in these sequences is because xLights is such an amazing piece of software...  Knowing where to place the effects is all personal preference and its good to hear that someone likes the placement of effects that I chose (although, to be fair, some of this sequence came from someone else and I can't remember if that part was his or not).
