it looks like the problem was with my layout.  i had a P5 panel that i used solid circle as the display appearance and when i would switch from 2d to 3d the FPS in the sequencer tab it would drop from 19 fps to 3.0 FPS, and that was after i went out and bought a Nvidia RTX 2070 video card.  once i change it to square appearance it was fine. this was test by a couple others in a zoom chat over the weekend.  so it seems like you have to be careful on what appearance you choose.

so i tried it with just a tree and it seems fine.  seems like when i start adding a bunch of channels that when it becomes more laggy.
i did an xlight export video preview and it looked normal, but it took almost 20 mins to export it.

ok i will try it with just one model and empty show folder.  i did try someone setup on my computer and it seem to work fine.  biggest difference was he didnt have as many channels as i do.  should i re-create the models or can i just import one?

The computer is an i7 6800k  16 gb ram nvida gtx670 graphics card.  running windows 10  and the latest version of xlights.  i have 3 monitors 2 running at 2560x1440 and 1 1920x1080

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on why in my 3d preview that my effects look slower and dont match the timing compared to when you play it in 2d preview.
even when i make the 3d house model inactive it doesnt change.  are there settings on my graphics card that i should adjust?

Bugs in xLights/Nutcracker / sub model reverse number

this is the report i got from typing in my sub model using reverse numbers.  the video of why i was trying to do this is on the xlight facebook page but i was having a hard time getting the files on the so hopefully this is what you are looking for.
also noticing that there is a little lag in the video on the sequence tab does anyone else notice this?

Bugs in xLights/Nutcracker / fpp connect cant upload controller configuration

anyone have any idea why when i try to do fpp connect in xlights that the upload controller configuration is grayed out and i get this error message.

i just double checked the agenda and it was for whole house projections.  I am hoping to do that this year so that is why i was hoping for a video to help figure it out.  it was the last thing on the agenda and they never got to it.

I was wondering if you are still going to do a video talking about how to use projectors on your house and how to use them with the FFP?  on the Vegas seminars it was the one i was most looking forward to, or are you going to just put it on the dvd?  thank for all the great work on the other videos.

cnbales it looks to me that you might have both of your f16v2 starting channels starting @ 1.  according to your spread sheet the f16v2 that has universe 15 thru 30 should start @ 1405 for start channel and according to your screen shot it looks like you have it as #1.

I am trying to use the "Easy light linkers" for wireless instead of hard wiring to my computer but i must be doing something wrong in the setup.  Does anyone have any idea on if there is anything special you need to do to use the ELL.  If i hard wire it it will work but would like to use ELL.  thank you

i am running my show on my computer with the scheduler.  which means I think i have to have the program running correct?  what i would like to be able to do is when my computer is turned on to have xlight start automatic       . I have tried to put xlights in my startup folder(windows 7) but it gives me error message saying files are missing.  any thoughts of how to turn the computer on and start xlights automatic would be great.  thank you guy love what you can do with the program.

i use an automatic on/off timer to have the power come on and off just for the show times.

Do You Need Help? Post it here / lost everything when i went to save any ideas

i had been working for a few hours on a song saving every 10 to 20 mins and when i just went to save it locked up and kicked me out.  i tried to go back in and it says "unable to load RGB effects file"  then it says ".xml parsing error:not well formed(invalid token)` at line 50. 

now when i try to go in to xlights it doesnt find any of my models or my house picture or anything.  this is version 4.24
