Figured it out eventually. Just a bit slow selecting channels in the sub model groups and selecting group ranges. Much easier on a grig to halite then a tree plus add in an odd shape makes it a bit more tedious but in the end it worked. Thx

I kinda figured that but can't figure a easy way to identify the pixels or halite the pixels to identify what numbers need attached to the sub model.

Have a tree and I need to locate and turn off about 100 lights. Ideally I would have a layer with just those pixels and i can layer an off effect and maintain the other existing effects. They aren't in a real specific order and I can't see how to locate the specific pixels either. Any help would be appreciated.

The pixels need to remain in the model i just need a way to easily locate and turn off effects to those channels. Also need to locate the channels.

Do You Need Help? Post it here / blanking out pixels

I make a handful of chandeliers and light art pieces. This helix chandelier i just want to blank out the pixels easiest and easy to draw a matrix but seeing where effects really end is key.

This seemed to let me open. Would be better for other users to have it open directly. On pc i did also have some issues but moved it to the c drive and a new folder and it opened. Thanks for the quick help. Let you know if i have any issues.

If you right click on the xLights app from the find and select "Open", the same dialog should popup, but with and option to go ahead an run it.   You only need to do that once.

At one point I started working on signing the app, but no-one seemed to need it (or notice) so I stopped as it's kind of a pain.

Comes up saying in pop up

"lights" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer
Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the app store and identified developers

I have Lights on pc and followed the simple instructions for mac. Any advice would be appreciated.
