Need to remove about 100 pixels from a model
« on: January 24, 2018, 09:37:32 AM »
Have a tree and I need to locate and turn off about 100 lights. Ideally I would have a layer with just those pixels and i can layer an off effect and maintain the other existing effects. They aren't in a real specific order and I can't see how to locate the specific pixels either. Any help would be appreciated.

The pixels need to remain in the model i just need a way to easily locate and turn off effects to those channels. Also need to locate the channels.

Sounds like you need a submodel.

I kinda figured that but can't figure a easy way to identify the pixels or halite the pixels to identify what numbers need attached to the sub model.

You have not really shared enough information for us to provide any more guidance.

Figured it out eventually. Just a bit slow selecting channels in the sub model groups and selecting group ranges. Much easier on a grig to halite then a tree plus add in an odd shape makes it a bit more tedious but in the end it worked. Thx
