Do You Need Help? Post it here / Two Matrices Into One

I have six vertical matrices of 6 across and 25 high and wired from the bottom right (see attached for reference). I will be relocating these and using them as three vertical matrices 6 across by 50 high. My plan is to have Matrix 2 plugged into Matrix 1 to create the 6x50.

How would I lay them out in xLights so that the two are one model?

Do You Need Help? Post it here / P10 Sub-Models and Text

I created 3 horizontal Sub-Models on my P10 matrix into thirds, 1 across the bottom, 1 in the middle, and one across the top. When I use the text affect, how do I assign which text goes to which Sub-Model? For example, text line 1 on the top, text line 2 in the middle, and text line 3 on the bottom.

I am having problems with xLights communicating with the AlphaPix4. When I use test mode on the controller, everything works. When I use the xLights test for the Vertical 1 (1351-1473), it is good, but when I test the Garage Door 1474-1983 the top right 5 pixels, the right side and the Vertical 2 light up. When I test 1984-1998 there is nothing. Testing Vertical 2 (1999-2121) show nothing.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Attached is a photo of the lights, a screen shot of the AphaPix4 setup, and xLights files.

Have you checked that the settings for the panels are the correct RGB, RBG, etc?

There are only two choices, Top Left and Bottom Left, neither makes a difference.

I originally had the top row of three on output 1 and the bottom row of three on output 2, but output 1 seemed not to work after the upgrade. I have just ordered longer ribbon cables, when they arrive I will try multiple output configurations as suggested.

I downloaded and installed Dan's image (v1.9-dkulp-15-g8170ec1 (bbb-jesse branch) and it fixed the every other row problem. Then output 1 would not work, but output 2 does, so I rearranged the panels to use output 2 (screenshot attached), but now the two rows go opposite ways (photo attached).

Am I missing something?

I just installed the FPP v1.5 BBB SD image and same thing, every other row, same rows as before.

In the test through FPP the colors cycle, but white strobes. It previously did the same with the white.

I bought the P10 Indoor Matrix Panel Kit from DIY LED Express in January at their pre-season sale. Received them about a week ago and just had a chance to start playing with them. Their description states that they are indoor panels.

I thought that I would jump into the P10 panels this year. I have 6 P10 panels that I have set up 3 across and 2 high, using a BBB and Octoscroller. In testing through the FPP all of the columns work, but only every other row works. Photos are attached.

I am using a 5 volt 300 watt power supply for the P10 panels, and a separate 5 volt, 2 amp/120v power supply for the BBB.

Has anyone come across this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did anybody order items from DIY LED Express from their 2017 Pre-Sale in January?

I did and have not heard and/or received anything yet. I have emailed them twice and nothing. My order was placed on January 7 and paid for the same day.

Just wanted to see if I was the only one.
