Lights / Re: LED strips in Arches
« on: April 07, 2022, 07:07:26 PM »
I used the jell filled strips from wired watts    2 strips back-to-back  wired the feed wired the ends together so both strips lighting matched . slid them into 3/4 white pex tube  On the output side left one set dead and the other fed the next Ok pixel pole.

Did you try a different port on the F48 I pulled a cable it tugged the port is now messed up. I was waiting until now to take it down to see if i can fix it.  it also will give you the same issues

Its funny you say that. I had one of my setups do the same thing.  I changed everything and last, the power supply At first it worked great and back it came all the issues. Ended being the Cat 5 cable that tested fine but was bad. changed that I was good for the season...

to me sounds like a bad cat5 cable   you can test them with a tester but that does not mean they are good just swap the 2 cables 17-20 and 21-24 and watch the issue move been there done that

I would not think its a programing issue or sequencing differently but the lights you use. I would try these lights instead as they will push the light in more of a direction.     http://uwi.red/r33    He is out of stock at the moment but you can also get them off amazon for 50.00 per 100 mod.

You can keep the fm transmitter inside just run a cable outside with the antenna.  And still no it won?t be too much power.  Only about 10 houses down each way if your lucky

what will get you close is
Marquee
   skip size and stagger
then in layers setting use blur

or strand and use blur

Facebook LOL. I tried it for 2 weeks  wow. I'll never go back to it.  The real information is right here......

When I run my show it doesn't run via my router  My Pi feeds a switch that goes to my controllers and BBBs. My router does feed the switch only to setup everything. Other than that my router has nothing to do with my show. At times ill remove the router from the switch via a A/B switch so the grandkids don't get into it.

I have found this to happen to me when I don't have enough power injection going on. What are your runs? are you feeding power at both ends of every strand no matter how short? Anything over 300 pixels are you injecting in the middle? what are your power supplies set for, voltage? Are the controllers set for 100% or are those also reduced? Just trying to rule out hardware before we get into software.

Do have another question.   Are you running the same data to each so each are identical or data in the first then back out  into the second and on next down the line    With the first way if one failed the rest would not be affected.  I’m running the second way.  My connectors are 4 prong.

This year weather wise has been strange. We normally get rain around thanksgiving and after freezing temperature. This year all rain. The water has been getting into my icicles.  So I need to go above and beyond in getting these sealed. I had all the parts here to make one seemed pretty good. Ordered parts to make the new 20. Then some testing hmmm in the pool.
