String # 8 on 3600 mega tree w/n light up
« on: December 02, 2021, 12:47:14 PM »
Using Falcon F48 to power mega tree 180 round 9 strings 400 pixels power injection every 100 pixels 30% brightness. I'm using ports 17- 25, universe start at 6490 and ends 17289 and strings 1-7,9 work fine but string 8 does not (only random flickering) Plugged string 8 into another port and pixels work fine, and I swapped smart receiver out and didn't help. I suspect it is a simple fix but it appears to be above my first light show abilities

You didn't mention if you get the same results plugging 8 into a different string of lights. If you get the same results I would check your connections starting at the smart receiver for loose wires and moisture.

First thing I would try is turn up the brightness and see if that helps.

to me sounds like a bad cat5 cable   you can test them with a tester but that does not mean they are good just swap the 2 cables 17-20 and 21-24 and watch the issue move been there done that
