Latest xLights/Nutcracker software / Can not change Show Folder on Mac

I have just upgraded the MacOS on my system to SONOMA Version 14.7.  I then installed the latest version of XLights 2025.03 and the show folder is giving me errors and will not load.  How can I do a full reset on my new XLights app and how do I get my Show Directory to change to the folder I need?

Additional information.  Under the controllers tab, I can select the "Change Permanently" option and I can select the main folder and the media folder, but when I press the Open button the directory never changes.
If I select the main folder and not the media folder, the Show Directory path does change to the main folder.  But my controllers, and layout never show up. 

Quick update:  If I download and use version xLights-2024.02.01.dmg, Everything works perfect.  But when I go to the .app, nothing works.   Its obvious I am doing something really dumb.    Is their a trick to using the app?

Looking for any suggestions.

I have not tried the import effect method.  I will check that out.

Ok, I must be doing something really dumb.  I put the profile and sequence file from vixen into my show folder.  I created the exact same setup and layout in xLights and then use the convert tool to bring the sequence in.  It all works great and if I go to my Sequence tab and expand the models I can see the sequence.  The problem is, when I go to save the sequence it will only save as an XML file and then wipes out all the sequencing.   
Any idea what I am doing wrong?   I know it's going to be something dumb.

Xlights Setup / GPIO input from a PiHat to trigger a Sequence in XLights

I have a bunch of Pi's using FPP 2.7 and having PiHat connected.  I know I can configure an input on the GPIO to trigger an event within the FPP but I would like to have a push button start a sequence on the XLights.  All of the Pi's are running in Bridge Mode.   Where can I find information on this, and can it be done?
