Batch render won't even save the xsq file and we have several folks complaining about it to prove it.  This will go nowhere unless you can show what you mean in a video and provide files to reproduce.  Its possibly something renders differently now than it used to due to program changes but the original effect settings in the XSQ file is still unchanged.

Never said the original file was damaged, the freq files that are batched rendered then uploaded to FPP. But hey, what do I know, it's only my files on my computer.

For most controllers you can change brightness on the visuallizer/controller per prop - no need to re-render.
As for the batch render - it does NOT alter the sequence - if it was broken after, it was broken before. It simply renders and saves .fseq, it does not alter the .xsq sequence.

These are 36 channel dumb controllers, have to lower the intensity in xlights. Before i rendered, by sequences were just fine, after render, several of them had their effects that ran the entire sequence shrunk down by several seconds. they were not broke before hand

had to change the brightness in my signing trees, did a batch render, several of my sequences got messed up bad. Not sure this has happened to anyone else.

Can you set up the colorlight card through the Pi, or does I have to be hooked to the computer? I do not have gigabit ethernet connection on my computer but I have a Pi 3b+

That is the way I do it.  Really slick in that you can even change the color order on each string.

RGLs use multiple nodes inside of one prop.  The usual is to group the nodes.  That is done in the controller and is not a model group.  A model group is a group of the same models.

To put these two different props off one port you would need to have one string for the arch that consists of multiple nodes that are all programmed individually and a second string for the different prop.  Sometimes that is just a different color order or when you add something like an RBL after the arch that in reality has 5 (or more nodes) or programmed as one you need to group the nodes.  With a virtual string you can put multiple strings together that have different properties off one port.  I have Boscoyo Pixelaria that have 5 nodes inside each prop.  If I have 5 Pixelaria in a row, I specify to xlights that I have 1 string with 5 nodes, but in reality it is 25 nodes that have been grouped inside the controller config as 1 logical node but 5 physical nodes per prop.  Tough to explain, but once you try all this stuff it starts to make more sense.

I have tried to figure it out to no avail, thinking there is no way to do this, but thought i would ask. I was looking to run the Arch RBL lights off the end of my Arches, however the RBL lights need to be grouped, is there a way that i cant find to run them all off the same port?

I got 1 sequence, that at about 20 seconds to the end of the song, the arches freeze on a marque. they will stay like that the rest of the show unless i pull the connector, but even after i pull the connector and plug them back in, the sequence will then try and finish, even though a new sequence is running.

Did you open the file from the 2020 location?  I have always found that I seem to have less problems with prior year sequences by creating new and then do an import.  Opening an old sequence always seems to generate a raft of errors due to paths or my renaming of props to a better name for subsequent years.

No, i changed my layout this year so i re mapped all my sequences. ,What happened is under the preferences there is 2 tabs to choose show folder, i only chose 1, didnt see the bottom one.

For an unknow reason, my matrix seems to have shifted down by 2 rows. sequence is fine when played in xlights, but the bottom 2 rows are at the top and the rest are shifted down by two.

SO i changed the directory under preferences to go to my 2021 show folder, but it still puts the FSEQ files in tghe 2020 show folder.

Well assuming your rendered (paint pallete) and saved . The default is indeed your show folder. Can be checked/verified by looking at File->Preferences->Sequences "FSEQ Directory"

So for some reason, they were sent to my Show folder from last year while the Xlights sequence went to my current show folder.

I have done roofing in the past during my construction days. Best way to avoid an leak issues is to have some metal brackets made that are bend, use a heat gun to heat up the shingle then life it up, place your bracket under the tile, screw it down, then place the shingle back down. this will prevent any holes from being placed in the shingles.

Where are the FSEQ files located? i can not find them in my show folder and i need to upload a file to FPP, when i use FPP connect they show up but can not find them anywhere.
