Xlights Setup / re-ordering channels on imported DMX sequence

All my sequences are gratefully stolen from the google drive, so THANKYOU!!!!

I am playing with my first DMX laser, starting with "Tim Nash - Snoop Dogg Winter Wonderland" but two of his DMX channels are different than mine.

How do I copy/move a DMX channel? I wish I could just copy the row. I also tried Remap Channels but that did not seem to do anything when I had lots of DMX effects selected.

General Software / relative paths

I have a face as such:

Mouth-AI-EyesClosed="C:\Users\Joe\Desktop\CHRISTMAS\xlightsshows\DownloadedFaces\Reindeer\Reindeer_AI_eo.png"

When I try to use find and replace to make the path relative and sharable, the following two tries do not work:

Mouth-AI-EyesClosed="\DownloadedFaces\Reindeer\Reindeer_AI_eo.png"
Mouth-AI-EyesClosed="DownloadedFaces\Reindeer\Reindeer_AI_eo.png"

How do I make these paths relative so that I can share them easily?

I used find and replace in Notepad (Programmers) to change the color of some shared Halloween songs (my songs know what you did) from Purple and Orange to Red and Green for Christmas.

In a text editor, open the xlights_rgbeffects.xml file you are importing.
Use find and replace to fix any paths for your local computer
Copy all of the <faceInfo> sections
In a text editor, open your xlights_rgbeffects.xml
Paste the <faceInfo> sections

that allows me to copy all the effects (including multiple layers) for a model, but I want to be able to just cut and paste a single layer like i remember doing in older versions of xlights

Bugs in xLights/Nutcracker / On Off Effect Cycle Count does not work for "10" and do not line up

In the attached screen shot, the On-Off effect is correct when I use a Cycle Count of 9 or 11, but 10 does not work and seems to be interpreted as 1

In the second part of the screen shot, when I set a Cycle Count as a multiple of the number of bars the Effect   runs (11), it does not seem to line up perfectly.

I used to be able to cut and paste between different layer-rows, but this year's version of Xlights is not letting me.

1) Right-click on a row with some effects in it
2) Insert Layer Below
3) Right-click on the first Layer, select Row->Copy Effects
4) Right-click on the second Layer, Row-Paste Effects

Nothing happens.

Expect the rows to now be duplicated

I want to create series of effects then cut and paste them after each other to quickly fill out a song. However, whenever I paste, the length of each effect changes, so I cannot quickly fill out a song without lots of hand corrections.

1) Create 2 effects aligned with the beat
2) Copy effects from Step 1 to another channel (works fine and is aligned with beat)
3) Copy effects from Step 1 immediately after effects from Step 2

The pasted effects will now be longer!

What am I doing wrong?

I keep making tweaks to my setup and layout... how do I automatically open and save all of my xml files to regenerate the fseq?

I'm guessing there should be a command line or convert tool...?

ooooh, I see it in the strands now.

But, why did those strands not it come in when I imported his entire Mega Tree to my Mega Tree?? I thought Import Effect got all the layers at once? I was able to cut and paste the strands successfully!

And now I'm happy.... (but I' still looking for Logan's sequence for Happy too)

Show Assets / Logan's Light Saber!?

Does anyone know how Logan does the lightsaber at the beginning of Starwars Funk? I can see it in the preview, but there is nothing in the sequence tracks other than a lightsaber timing track!?

Most of the house pulses in blue and the mega tree is Off, but there is nothing else that I can find!

Nutcracker Models / Re: How to get a spinner to spin????

I second the question of how to do anything interesting with the built-in spinner model.

I've tried all the effects, but most of them just look random. Even the single strand effect lights up 2 arms of the spinner at a time and then flips to the other side instead of chasing.

From reading I see that I can use a matrix, but that defeats the purpose of this newly added model.
