Creating a new show in a new show folder.  I was in layout tab and laid down several prop models.  I had just created a new custom prop model in the Light Show Hub custom model builder with two simple sub models.  Imported them without issue and placed them.  I then went into the submodels to check the submodels and as soon as I hit the ... button, I get a Debugging check error.  If I select Stop, xLights closes and generates an Apple bug report.I hit continue, the application works.  I can repeat this every time.  I have included the packaged log files and a pdf showing teh screen shots a the time of the error.

Bugs in xLights/Nutcracker / Possible memory leak in MAC 2020.31-.35
« on: September 10, 2020, 05:12:49 PM »
While updating a sequence today I had been working on for a day, I applied the strobe effect to my Main Display all group.   I had the strobe effect up to about 140 lights.  It was working and was showing teh desired effect in teh model preview window.  So I decided to render the sequence to play it so I could see the newly added effect.  After about an hour of sitting which is unusual for my machine and sequences, xLights popped up an out of memory error.  I had only mail open at the time.  I had to force quit xLights and reboot the machine.  Now with nothing but xLights open, I decided to simply delete the strobe effect on the Main Display group.  At that point it simply became non responsive requiring a hard boot.  This occurred every subsequent attempt to restart and delete the offending effect.  I then upgraded to .35 and it did the exact same thing requiring me to fall back to an easier version of the sequence.  I have not tried adding it back again.  Attached are the log files for one of teh attempted deletions and crashes.  I did not catch the original one which had teh memory leak as it would not allow me to do anything in xLights. Also attached is the affected sequence.

Thanks guys. Both explanations corrected the respective issues.  It was simply operator error on my part.  Thank you both for responding.

Bugs in xLights/Nutcracker / 2020.31 MAC OS Visualizer Issues
« on: August 28, 2020, 12:52:52 PM »
After upgrading to 2020.31 on MAC OS 10.15.6, my existing models and config came fine.  In all but a couple cases I can move and reorganize the existing models using visualizer without issue.  When adding new models I began to run into the following issue which is repeatable.  When I drag a newly created model in Visualizer from the side panel to the correct port, it creates ghost models on other ports.  Once there, I can not delete or move the ghost model.  The only way to remove the ghost model is to move the original model back to the side panel.  I also tried going into the layout tab and configuring the new model to the correct port.  Once I did this and go into visualizer the ghost models appear on multiple ports.  I have attached a pdf screen shots of the error ghost images.  I also packaged the files after it occurred in visualizer.

In addition, I did find at least one existing model (Prior to conversion) that when moved a different port, would not move into the same port row as the other models.  It created its own new row and would not allow me to move it.

Finally, will there be an undo or save feature added to visualizer window?  It would be very useful.

General Software / xShedule question
« on: January 01, 2019, 01:16:32 PM »
We ran our show on xSchedule this year.  Since our show is at a off site location, it was important that it run without interaction.  I'm happy to say that it ran without issue and was rock solid.  We ran it from a laptop this year, but would like to move to a RPi 3+ next year.  I know we can run FPP as we do that for a stand alone matrix, but we would rather use xScheule as it appears more feature rich.  Is this already possible or are there any plans to port xSchedule to run on a Pi?

Nutcracker Models / Re: Image Model
« on: September 14, 2018, 11:10:06 PM »
Thanks Keith.  That's what I thought was the answer, but hoping otherwise.  Is there any other way to bring a non "lighted prop" images into the layout viewer?  Even though we can setup an RGB Flood using a single 3 channel model.  It would be nice to be able to see the prop we are lighting. Short of setting all the props up in the display area and then taking a photo and using as background image which is not always possible.  Thanks again for all your efforts.

Nutcracker Models / Image Model
« on: September 07, 2018, 06:59:14 PM »
I may be missing it, but is there a way to define an RGB string type to the image model?  All I see is single color and single color intensity.  I have several coro props that I simply light up with an RGB flood light running from a LOR 24 RGB controller.  I used the image prop rather than a single pixel as I wanted to see the prop in the display while programming.  Else is there a way to have an image prop not require a start channel?  Is there a better way of achieving what I am looking to do?
