2020.31 MAC OS Visualizer Issues
« on: August 28, 2020, 12:52:52 PM »
After upgrading to 2020.31 on MAC OS 10.15.6, my existing models and config came fine.  In all but a couple cases I can move and reorganize the existing models using visualizer without issue.  When adding new models I began to run into the following issue which is repeatable.  When I drag a newly created model in Visualizer from the side panel to the correct port, it creates ghost models on other ports.  Once there, I can not delete or move the ghost model.  The only way to remove the ghost model is to move the original model back to the side panel.  I also tried going into the layout tab and configuring the new model to the correct port.  Once I did this and go into visualizer the ghost models appear on multiple ports.  I have attached a pdf screen shots of the error ghost images.  I also packaged the files after it occurred in visualizer.

In addition, I did find at least one existing model (Prior to conversion) that when moved a different port, would not move into the same port row as the other models.  It created its own new row and would not allow me to move it.

Finally, will there be an undo or save feature added to visualizer window?  It would be very useful.

Sounds like the model has multiple strings. In which case it is correct.

Seems to be working properly to me...  "Left side vertical" is set as "# Strings" of 4, thus it will be put across 4 ports.

"Mega Tree BethStar 42" has a "Set Null Pixels" turned on.   Thus, on the falcon, that would trigger creating a new virtual string on the controller.  Thus a new line in the visualizer.

Thanks guys. Both explanations corrected the respective issues.  It was simply operator error on my part.  Thank you both for responding.
