I am on v2.55 of the Falcon S/W.  What version are you using?

When I set the pixel count to 0, and do a save, and refresh the page, it is reset to 1 1 1 1.

Do You Need Help? Post it here / Extra Pixel Lighting

I am running a test using 9 ports on an F16V3, where I have:

10 strings cabled, but only 9 defined in xlights and Falcon (I plan to activate #10 after I solve this issue).
Strings 1-8 tied to Mega Tree Prop @ 100 pixels each,  String 9 tied to Star with 90 Pixels.
My problem is that in every test I run, a single pixel lights on string 10.  I see from my output that 10-16 each have 1 pixel defined (that appears to be coming over from xlights, and I am not sure how to show an empty port).    If I delete the pixel count, it goes red.  Any ideas how to troubleshoot?  I have attached some screen shots.

Thanks in advance,

Harry

Do You Need Help? Post it here / Changing Model
« on: March 11, 2020, 01:34:31 PM »
If I change a model (for example, adding 2 strings on a mega tree), which has the effect of moving other props down to a different starting channel, what do I need to do to existing sequences?>  Is it adequate just to load, render, and save the sequences, or do I need to rebuild them (using new sequence, and import effects)?

Thanks in advance,

Harry

Do You Need Help? Post it here / Lights chained together
« on: March 06, 2020, 02:12:21 PM »
If I chain 2 50 pixel strings into a single port, will it look to xlights as a single 100 pixel string and "act" the same?
I assume it will, but you know what happens when you assume.....

Thanks,

Harry

Do You Need Help? Post it here / Uploading to F16V3

I have a single F16 on a separate network from my home network.
I have an FPP on the home network (wifi), and the FPP is attached via ethernet to the F16.
I have a proxy IP address that I can use to access from browser the F16.
My question has to do with how to upload the string configuration from Xlights to F16.
I am on the latest 2020.06, and the green light is on the setup page for the F16, but the upload input and output are greyed out.  I have the proxy IP address in the properties.  In previous attempts, I have taken the F16 off the separate network and attached it to my home network, and can successfully upload.  Does the upload function work though the proxy and are there setup steps I am missing?

Thanks in advance,
Harry

My apologies, this WAS user error.  Somehow my secondary selection in OS X Mouse Preferences got turned off.
All fixed now.

Bugs in xLights/Nutcracker / Right Mouse ,

I seem to be having an issue getting menu options with right mouse click on Setup and Models.  2020.4 with OS X.  I am not sure if this is a bug or user-error.  Would be glad to debug with any tests.

Thanks,

Harry

Falcon Pi Player / Re: Uploading to FPP
« on: February 06, 2020, 12:08:34 PM »
I am having a similar issue, I believe. I can download sequences and audio from FPP, but when I try to use the Tools...FPP connect, it acts as if the upload is working, but when I go to the FPP, I can't find the files.  My SD card has a small partition and a larger 11GB free partition.

Disk Utilization
Root Free Space:   10.98 GiB (76%)
Media Free Space:   10.98 GiB (76%)

I don't see a way in FPP Connect to select a partition.  Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks,

Harry
