Yes those earlier files aren't formatted correctly but you don't really know the history of how they got into that state.  When were they converted from XL3 to Xl4 format?

I am pretty sure the original files are XL3 format which were converted from Vixen files.  That was probably done around november of last year, perhaps october.  I can't remember for sure.  Not sure I can find out since I think I deleted the old software when I moved computers.  It is possible those are XL4 files but I didn't think I tried that on the old computer, so pretty sure they are XL3.

I took those XML files to make the XL4 files.  I just did that tonight using version 4.2.19.

Unless you have an XL3 file that does not convert correctly with today's version this is a dead topic.
