Show directory
« on: April 23, 2015, 08:55:20 PM »
So I just checked in a change to fix an issue marked Major where we were setting all 3 directories when you changed the show directory.  Well I'm the kind that likes all 3 being the same so now I'm having to click all 3 buttons to change them and I'm already hating it.  I guess now we will need an enhancement request to link them.

i also set all 3 to the same directory.
Maybe we could use the "Set Show Folder" icon in the upper left, to set all 3 at once. This way people who want one folder could use that, those who want audio files in a differnt location select the "Change" in front of audio

I really don't see the "value" of the separate fseq directory.  I'd really be tempted to remove that one.

I *do* like the separate "media" directory though and getting that into the global space made a lot of sense.   I should be able to grab an "xlights-dbg*.zip" thing from the crash report and load that up as a show directory and if I have the media for that in my media directory, it "just works".  That's kind of the goal there.

+1 I concur with this.

Yeah I'd be in favor of deleting the fseq directory.
