Copy/Paste crash
« on: April 27, 2015, 02:30:57 PM »
I've noticed while sequencing if I copy/paste a larger number of effects I've gotten a couple crashes on paste.  So beware and do a Save before any large copy/paste operations.   As far as I can tell the crash might be related to the Text effect.  The crash backtrace shows the code in the render on main thread function which is something that is called to render the text effect.  I think it might be trying to render at the same time we are still iterating through pasting effects.

I have been getting a lot of crashes on one file when using 4.0.28... However, oddly enough, once I modified the mp3 file in audacity (I needed to shorten the song--Happy Birthday Jesus...), all seems to be well...

Within the sequence grid, if you highlight multiple effects, you can copy and paste what you just highlighted in other locations.

You can't click directly on the effect.  You need to click and drag from another row, or just to the left or right of the effects you want to highlight.  It will create a yellow box bounding box while you're dragging.
