single sparkle or Gleam effect (and others)
« on: May 01, 2015, 12:17:46 PM »
I would like a single sparkle or gleam with an X Y feature so it could be layered to crate runs or swoops like the morph. or just enhance text or other effects.
Another effect would be a bowed or plucked string effect with an X Y.
I have the Beta LOR 4 with  SS. I have never used it but will try to make what I want. Don't know if I will do SS just too much when I can do almost everything with NC. Also I have yet to import a SS sequence with any amount of success. Operator error probably.
Last request an multi slot clip board. When I crate an effect I like I usually use it several times in a sequence. I scroll back and forth to grab it and move it and usually mess up the spot I took it from.
Thx Jim.

Right now SuperStar import only works for Morphs, so you have to manually edit the file to remove all but Morphs.

The easiest way to bring in SuperStar is to export SS to LOR (lsm), then import as a layer in xlights.  Let us know if you need help doing this.

Yeah actually the only reason the file needs to be edited is not because I'm only importing morphs, its because the file had bad XML formatting that won't work with the XML parser I'm using.  I think he's writing some of the tags manually and some of them are missing endings in some sections.  If you try to import without modiying the file you will get an error message telling you which line(s) have problems.
