I am trying to "turn on" a rainbow butterfly effect on an "arches-megatrees" model group by applying an "off" effect to each individual model (each arch & both megatrees) then having the "off" effect turn off at specific time stamps where I want the rainbow butterfly effect to start on each model. This is working great for the arches but not for the megatrees. The arches are sequencing on with the "whole house model" type of rainbow butterfly effect one by one at the time stamps where I want the rainbow butterfly effect to start. However, the megatrees are never "off"; the rainbow butterfly effect is always on even though I have set the "off" effect on the individual megatrees as I did with the individual arches. Am I thinking about this incorrectly? I checked my model groups and the arches and arches-megatrees model groups look similar. Thanks in advance.
Edit--I changed the "off" effects on the megatrees to "colorwash" effects with a black color. That worked. Still not sure why the "off" effects did not work... But got it doing what I wanted!!!!
