Getting models to work in preview
« on: May 15, 2015, 10:52:22 AM »
I have several different models that I am using from years past.   I am new to XLights and find the software easy to set up.   I have started programming my songs  and find that my 10 segment arches and my RGBW (custom models) are not displayed in the sequencing tab.  They show up in the model preview, but not in the sequencing tab.  If I place an effect on that model, it also doesn't show up in the model window (sequencing tab).  I think I have it right, because all of the other models, RGB custom and pixel arches, eaves, and mega tree are working fine.   Even my single channel elements are there.
Thanks
Edit:   I have figured out what was wrong with the arches.   I still have work to figure out what is going on with the RGBW Custom model.

An Update:
I was hoping the RGB and the RGBW custom models would work like individual channels.  The RGB Custom works like a pixel and the RGBW also works like a pixel (1 node), but the RGBW model only shows up in white.  Since these are RGB10w and mini floods I am dealing with, they will have to be individual channels.  Not too disappointing, it's just trial and error.

I just tried an RGBW model and I don't think its working right.  It should be able to show the right colors and not only show when its white.

Confirmed RGBW isn't working correctly.   Working on a fix...
