Clip art
« on: May 18, 2015, 09:02:17 PM »
I am having a bit of a problem not sure what I am doing wrong. I am using LOR 4.0.20 Pro and xlights 4.0.31. In xlights I start a new musical sequence then right click on the new timing tab, select edit display element, add a model then I make a 10 second timing mark pick a effect add it to the model for that 10 seconds. After that I right click on the model and click export model, I name it and go to LOR load into the clipart pick a spot in a musical sequence and right click and select paste. it does nothing. I believe I did this way a couple of weeks ago and it worked. Am I doing something different or wrong and can you help.

in Nutcracker I created a 27.5 second animation sequence added my pixel tree put a butterfly effect on it then exported to LOR 4.0.24 as a clipboard loaded the clip board and pasted in place with no issues. not sure why it is not working for you.

When you paste to LOR, you have to have the correct setting for Paste to Cells or Paste by Time.  I don't know which one it should be. If it's not working with one, it has to be the other.

Well I am confused because that is what I am doing and have changed the paste options to all of them and it doesn't add anything. I am wondering if it has something to do with LOR 4.0.20 because I loaded that and now it doesn't seem to work.

when pasting into LOR you have to paste by time otherwise the effects will be all pushed together at the beginning found that one out the hard way last year

Easy enough to prove, install an earlier or later version and see if that fixes it.

some thing else i was thinking of before exporting did you hit render or save ? I did have that issue in one of the early releases but I had to hit save for the data to go out to LOR. but have not seen that issue for some time now.
