Hi, I want to do the following.

MIDI Keyboard connected to a FP connected to a Pixels controller connected to lights strings in tubes like a Xylophone.
Punters hit the key and the sound plays and the correct tube lights up.

I'm sure someone has done it - just not me.

I guess I'll need to google other meanings for "punter" cause I was a great punter in high school and I'm envisioning a keyboard mounted to the wall of your house and viewers get to kick a football to try to hit a key.

Yes her in rugby to "punt"the ball is to kick it high rather than long.
Funny how words are used differently. In guess it's a local thing - but for me a punter a person who participates, thus having someone actually play the keys and get the results rather than a passive bystander.
I've spent over 6 years in the USA working and get into trouble with a few words.

Cool...  Since I use an FPP to run the show I'd want something interactive using that.  I think it has some capabilities to do that I just haven't had time to tap into it.

There is no "trial period" it just stops working for 15 seconds every 30 minutes, plenty to trial with. but the full version is only $149.00
I got excellent support as they wrote the program for me and are doing a "how they did it" on their forum in the next few days.

To me this sounded like you had an idea and wanted to know if anyone else had done it.  Then 3 days later you are showing a video where you have it working and say you had a company write that software for you.  So at first I thought you wanted help but now it feels like you were seeing if you had something you could copyright.

At the Sydney Mini I was looking at how I was going to use the 2" acrylic tubes I had bought. I had the idea of an interactive display using a MIDI keyboard I had spare. I asked around then posted about using a FP as I thought that might work. Then Mr Google showed me what was being done with the LightJams software. I tried to use the software but couldn't get my head around it. I told their help desk what I was trying to achieve. They then wrote the program. They modified it a couple of times for me and I then did a quick video before travelling for two weeks then shared the result so others could use it. Nothing about copyright just good timing.
The next version of the program I want to work on is using the microphone input to change the lights when we are singing in our concerts.
