Beta ver 4.1.4 crash

Gee, I was doing fine till I upgraded again.  When I do a save, all the tools gray out and program stops responding. Have to "X" t to start over.

If you have a sequence that exhibits this every time you try to save then share the sequence along with the other files needed for us to reproduce  your setup.

Hi,

Send (zip into one file) the xml file of your seq , your mp3 file,  your xlights_networks , xlights_rgbeffects and backtrace.txt (if one exists)
if there is an xlights_dbgrpt file in your show directory that corresponds to that time , then send that as well, but it may not exist.
Also, watch the status line at the bottom and see what it last says.

I agree, but thought it would be good to include as (IMHO) , it is nice for the person debugging the issue to hear the music whilst executing the sequence - but that is just me...

scuba I can open your stuff and do those steps and it doesn't crash.  I do notice for your Standard Perspective the Model and House Preview windows must have been on a second monitor.  It also looked like you like to use the '&' character for some of your model names which might cause the xml parser problems.

Just a thought... Have you defined the channels and universes on the setup tab,  such that it covers all those in your model ?

for the most recent crash report attached , I had created a papagayo seq using the cl pg tab, then closed xl , reopened that seq , rendered etc, toggled the nodes , then I dropped an "on" effect in a blank cell. (There is only one model defined).
(I may have tried to delete the On effect just dropped or undo it when it crashed).

For the earlier crash report , I was also fiddling about in the same area (with nodes toggled on) trying to understand whether I could edit the papagayo that had been "imported" by the earlier step, but don't remember exactly what key I had pressed when it crashed as I tried a few . Attaching in case it is of use.

Here's my files in dropbox.  When I was modifying the effect with Text near the start of the sequence, I was experiencing the crash. Then I decided to make a change in the effect and do a "save" at that point, and the program stops responding when clicking save.
