Grid feature

The ability to highlight a cell  in a model and have it follow along with the music tracker.  Would make following the music for timings much easier from model level.  Also the ability to auto set grid timings. Perhaps have presets for 1/10th timings and 1/5th timings

You can set 100ms timings today. I just checked my math and 100ms=1/10th.
There isn't 200ms timings though as a default.  You could make a timing track with Excel with 200ms timings and save it for importing to any sequence you'd like.

Attached is a 200ms timing track, 5 minutes long. Feel free to use/distribute.

Isn't there a play line that extends down through the models when it's playing?  If not then there should be and I'll look into it.

Negative, the scrub line stays within the confines of the Waveform window.

However, if the sequence is not playing and you click on a cell, that effect and all layers for that model will play, you just need to have the model window open to see it.

Now you got me wondering if we ever had a scrub line.  Is there any reason to not have the play line extend all the way down the grid?

Well, the feature is actually there right it front of us. It's called TIMING MARK. Goes through all layers, all models, strands, nodes. Just create an alignment timing track if you need a scrub line to go vertically through the window. Turn in on and off as needed.

Open a sequence,. go to Sequencer, in the timing area right click and "ADD TIMING TRACK" then put timing marks in where you want them using "T"
Make sure the white circle has a dot in it, by clicking in the circle, and that is the timing track selected.

NZ  thanks but that isn't what I'm looking for. I am looking for a scrub line that that comes down from the wave area and is visible  in the grid when the music plays.

I will add a scrub line.  It won't be done with a timing track.  It's really a 5 minute change to update the grid render routine to draw the line.

Kevin did you want want that scrub line on/off selectable with a user defined thickness and color?

For myself I prefer it on at all times. No preference on the color.

Oh I was planning on doing the scrub line.  But if you want to configure the color and the width that's what I'm saying to put on the enhancement list.
