Starting strand and rotation
« on: June 24, 2015, 09:21:28 PM »
I'm trying to understand how to setup my AC single color Mega Tree Models but I'm not sure I can do what I need. My current setup has:

String 1 at 3PM
String numbers increment counter clockwise

Is it possible to setup the model to work like this?

The attached image is the closets I have come where strand 1 is at 12Pm with counter clockwise rotation which I think will work if I adjust my physical setup 1/4 turn counter clockwise.

Any suggestion on if how I should do this?

Thanks

The starting corner is means "Where is pixel #1 on this model?"

The location of strand #1, is up to you when you physically build the tree.

If you want strand #1 to be at 3-o-clock, then you'd build the NC model with starting corner as either top right or bottom right depending on where pixel #1 is on your string, and you'd set it up as a 180 tree.

A 270 tree visually puts the first and last strands at 10 and 2.
A 360 tree visually puts the first and last strands at 12:00
The 90 is at roughly 8 and 4

Hope that helps.

Do not ask to know all the answers, but ask to understand the question.

I think I'm starting to understand.  I think the answer in my case is need to setup the physical strand 1 to match the software options.  i.e with strand 1 at 12.
