Sup file to Xlights How-to

Here is the first video I have ever done. Sup file to Xlights and back to .lms. If anything is erroneous, please let me know.

Looks good Valentino!

In the beginning when you said you did not select timings, the 25,50,100 selection is for the base timing that the effects are generated with. The sequence timing is different from timing tracks. Since you did not pick one, it defaulted to 50ms and you can see those as the grey lines on the sequencer window.  Also if you haven't tried this, make a tree that is bigger than the sequence. Make it 20 strands and change the X value when you select the tree.  All of the converted effects will look good and the images that don't move will stick to the original X values.

Well yes you can import the sequence onto any size model but don't change the X and Y values on the import dialog because those need to be the size of the model the effects are coming from...we already know the size of the destination model.  The only caveat is if you import from a 12 string tree onto a 16 or larger string tree any effects that were only one column wide will not enlarge.  An effect needs to have width for it to scale.
