Hello all,

Gil posted a video a couple of weeks ago on the subtle but clever differences on using the timeline, waveform and grid to control what part of the sequence you want to play , replay , focus on etc etc

I just found my way to it and it explains (to me) some supposedly odd comments on double clicking etc at the last release. Also opens up much better ways of using the timeline and waveforms to control sections of the sequencer .

Plus I had no idea that these were separate items.

I am reposting it here as it is well worthwhile replaying for those who may not have seen it.

Thanks for the reference.  That was helpful.

Two more questions.
How subdivide a time period?
and
How do you insert an effect in between two that are "glued" together?

How subdivide a time period?
Click in the middle of the timing effect and press "s" to split it.

How do you insert an effect in between two that are "glued" together?
Unglue them.  If you put the cursor where they meet and then move it away it will turn into a "hand" cursor which can pull effects apart.
