Fade in & fade out boxes

Are these features active?  I've tried checking these boxes on a few different effects and I don't see any fading going on.  Wondering if these boxes were created, but have not yet been activated?

They work fine on the version I am using 3.3.2

Thanks Richard.  That's the same version I'm using.  The problem must be between the chair and keyboard.  I'll play with it some more.

Some effects fade better than others. Also, the longer the fade, the more you'll notice that it is working.

What is the unit of time associated with the fades? Seconds? Is an entry of 5.00, five seconds?

I am noticing that 5.00 is taking 3 to 4 seconds to fade all the way out  but my old eyes well you know lol

units are seconds. you really need to play these effects on the grid. make sure teh time between two rows is greater than the fade times you enter
