Is there a global dimming setting for intensities in the effects?

each model has a dimming control that you apply once and is used for all sequences.

Not only can you adjust the model brightness via Model Brightness Adjustment, you can adjust the Preview Brightness.

I found that my 12v bullet nodes were VERY bright last year and a white/red spiral on a tree was way overpowering to the eye.  Reducing the model brightness to 60% was absolutely great on the eyes however it was very dim on the screen.

Using the Model brightness adjustment in conjunction with Model Preview brightness fixes both!

That is the best of both worlds.

Silly question, but does the model brightness have any effect if using data layers?

Model Brightness - no.   The Model Brightness is only used at the end of rendering effects when taking the data from the render buffer and sticking it in the appropriate channel locations.

Model Preview Brightness - yes.   This is a display time thing when taking data from the channel locations and displayed on the screen.

There is also a limitation on adjusting brightness wrt whole house models.  The entire model is dimmed without the control over individual pixels.

I have an older matrix made from 10 TM1804 pixel strings.

The first 8 strings are one year older and are not quite as bright as the bottom 2 strings.

Using the Brightness option (since I don't want to pull it out of storage to test in this Texas heat),

Can I create two models (8 strings and 2 strings) and dim the bottom 2, then Group them without losing that brightness adjustment?

My alternative is to control it with an F16V2 because it gives me Intensity adjustment on each output. I'm certain that will work and I may do it anyway.
