There seems to be inconsistent behavior when adding effects to a model group. I have a bunch of model groups made for my AC channels, and when I add effects to the group, some of the groups it works fine, and some of the groups it doesn't. I can't find a rhyme or reason why.

I think it has to do with the Layout mode your using for the groups.  Grid as per preview is giving you something like a 400x400 model for those groups so I'm guessing there is some kind of truncation when its trying to map the pixel into one of those cells.

If you switch to "Minimal Grid" for Layout mode it will only define the size of the model group as the number of pixels it needs to encompass those models and that should make it work.

Yeah we should probably make "Minimal Grid" the default to reduce a lot of the support questions we've been getting.  The other option also makes some effects not react as expected because they don't start and stop at the edges of the model.
