You didn't say what you were trying to export but looking at your file I got it to crash but only when trying to export "SF Partials".  If that's what you're trying to do it's not going to work because that's a model group.  I guess we need to figure out how to disable that option for model groups.

Well, actually that is what the subject says...  ;)

It would be better to fix export model groups instead of disabling it..  ;D

But you are right.. it crashed only on export.

You didn't get the point of my response.  You can export models...not model groups.  The subject says model export.  There's no way for me to know that meant a model group and your topic description didn't tell me the model name or anything just said you tried to export so I had to guess what the heck you were exporting.

You must not have been around when we've discussed the issues with model group export.  Do you know the format of an export?  It doesn't contain any channel information its just a raw dump of a bunch of sequential channels.  But in a model group you can have several models with big channel gaps in-between and the export format has no way to represent that so we would be giving you a bunch of "black" information that might overwrite other in-between models on your target sequence.

You are correct.. I did not get the point.. but I understand it now with how you explained it..

To solve the bunch of "black" I have been pasting the clipboards in LOR to the background. That way it doesn't over write anything that I don't want it to over write.. It has been my work around this year.

I will be dark next year so I have a lot of time to play around with XL4 and get better familiar with all of it.  I couldn't change over this year because I needed the wireless capabilities I get from LORs ELLs.

Thanks for your help.. and for your work on XL4
