xLights release 4.2.17
some bug fixes by dan and gil.
dan kulp added a image resize capability to the effect assist
dan has fixed the xml parsing error that occurred in some superstar file imports.
I removed the fixed 2 second fade inside lightning effect. now a bolt stays at the same intensity through the entire effect. Use fade in and out if you want to fade it.

Thanks again for your work. I notice the lightening effect now moves on its own even without movement selected.

mike; that is a bug. it is now fixed. i backed out a line to a previous version. that one line is now back, i will make another small release prob by tomorrow night. i am planning on adding direction to the bolts
down, up, left,right for teh direction of the bolt.

movement fix will be in the next release

The "fixes" just keep coming, and I am most appreciative of your work.

I've found what may be a bug in 4.2.17.  When I choose "twinkle" under the test tab, I get nothing.  Any amount of twinkle doesn't work.  All other test functions appear to work. Just not twinkle.

Any consideration to having  a reverse in your plasma effect and maybe be able to size and locate the plasma effect. Standardizing some of the options I am sure you are working toward.
