Crash bug report
« on: October 29, 2015, 01:32:34 PM »
Hey all, I have a sequence that I can not get to render without crashing.  I have been getting frequent crashes but have alway been able to recover and open, render and move on.  This sequence I have not been able to do that with.  I'm thinking it might be sequence related but I will include a couple of crash reports I had the last few days as well.

If it is sequence related any ideas how I could copy and paste an entire sequence  model at a time into a new sequence?

Thanks

Let me know if you need any other files, I was just going from memory what was required.

I THINK the issue is with the "Star LED outer" model.  It's defined as a Tree 360 with a single color white which should NOT be an issue, but for some reason is ending up with a 0x0 buffer.    Check that model and see if that helps.   I'll try and dig into it a little more later.

Actually, looking in the XML, the Star LED outer model is corrupt:
Code: [Select]
<model name="Star LED outer" DisplayAs="144" StringType="Single Color White"
That DisplayAs shouldn't be a number.  Was that a hand edited value or something?

Go to the model properties for that model and select "Star" and hit save.   That should fix that model.

I modified the model but still had the crash, went back and deleted all the data (or should properly say dropped new effects over the LOR imported effects) and now it works don't know why but it works and that's what matters to me!  THANK YOU FOR ALL THE TIME AND HELP.
