So anyways I'm not sure which element in that whacky sequencing you want to duplicate.

This is what I see the sidewalk doing around then.  I just drew a solid white line saved it as a picture and used vector motion to make 3 copies of it move.

I have a feeling what you did is a lot simpler than what Matt did in Vixen. Thanks for helping.

Yeah you saw how quick I did it.  By the way the Off effect underneath them is just a technique I use to get multiple effects to preview in a loop.  You click the Off effect on a bottom layer and it will display everything on the model above it in a repeating loop.

Great info. You guys have an awesome software package!

I haven't used Vixen in weeks, kinda don't have to now.

I really can't tell what you guys want it to do.

if I have a single strand of 100 pixels I would be asking for the following:

a chase begins at node 1 and moves out to node 75 (now nodes 1 through 75 are lit) - the chase then reverses or backtracks to node 50 (nodes 1 through 50 are lit) - the chase then moves forward again to node 100 (nodes 1 through 100 are now lit)

Follow the link in post 18, see if that's what you are looking for. Gil explained what he did to do that.

Like this is a way to make a morph zig zag across a line.  You could layer a bunch of them if you wanted several to follow each other.  I gotta see what you want to create it.

This is what I was looking for Gil.  In the GIF, is the effect that is below the three morphs just an off effect?

I get the feeling a lot of our users are missing out on some of the powerful things you can do.  Some have said they don't even use layers.  I tend to plop down 3 or 4 layers whenever I start to work on a model.  Especially if you are using morphs like on arches because you can't make the morph look like its rising up out of the ground on the next arch right when the head hits the ground on the previous arch unless you overlap them a little with 2 layers.  That's where the effect backgrounds help out.  You can see in the first GIF I posted how I lined up the start of the next head to begin where the end of the previous head lands instead of at the end of the tail.

I agree. There might not always be a single effect or single click to accomplish something, but almost anything is possible.

I'm enjoying sequencing this year.

Again, a huge thanks for all that you guys do.

Gil what did you do to save the line as a picture, just print screen?

I drew it with the Pictures effect using the Effect Assist window and then hit the Save Image button.
