Timing is off when i stop and start the sequenece in mid streem
« on: November 10, 2015, 09:23:43 PM »
the song plays just fine and matches up the the wave form when i play the song form the beginning.
but when i stop and start anywhere in the sequence, the song is off by several seconds, and doesn't match the wave form.

to make sure my timing marks line up with the song, i keep starting from the beginning witch is taking a ton of time.

am i doing something wrong?

You need to make sure that your media is a constant bit rate of 192kbs or lower.  Hope this helps

Open the audio file in audacity and export it back out as MP3. The default settings will contain CBR. Constant Bit Rate as opposed to Variable Bit Rate.   The quality of 128/192k.. blah just pick one or the other.. but CBR is a must.
