Odd Test Results
« on: November 11, 2015, 04:47:12 PM »
We have a Sandevice E682 and thru the IP address everything tests ok colors, etc we have it set to unicast.
we are building at 16 string 50 pixel RGB tree

In xlights set up we identify the LOR channels first as universe 1 and then we have the E682 with appropriate IP address and starting channel, we started our RGB Tree model on universe 2 channel 512 running thru 2912

Now we tried a test thru x lights choosing the A-B-C we have random strings different colors. Even using the background colors we have strings different colors using only one control bar.
I am sure its an easy fix that someone can help us with.

Thanks
Dennis

I hear you can't use channels 511 and 512 for Sandevices controllers.  You need to define 510 per universe for them and I would never start a model on the last channel of a universe anyways.

That is true!  Set xlights to 510 channels per universe for the E682 channels.

That's a new icon that was added in the last few releases.  Nothing you did, except upgrade xLights.

Well thanks to all.
We finally have everything communicating thru all the great help on the forums and all the videos
The help is appreciated. We can now run all the LOR channels and the E682 controller all thru
xlights. it is awesome

Only draw back is now we have to put everything up.

Happy Holidays
Dennis
