I have eight strings of led lights that are either blue or multicoloured that originally came with the multifunction controllers that you buy from Big W or Kmart etc. I cut off the controllers and have wired them up so they should work as single channel lights. I am running them from a LOR DC controller (CMB160-DC). I am using one of the DMX outputs from a J1-Sys ECG12s which runs to an AVD DC24 controller and then onto the LOR controller. In Xlights, I set each string up as a model that is single channel white ( i have all tried as blue, red or green). When I use the test function in xlights, I can get the strings to light up if I turn the sliders for "background colour" up under the RGB tab or under the standard tab if I slide up the background slider. However, when i put them into a static sequence I can't get them to light no matter what colour I set them to (white, red, green, blue etc). Now I obviously have them somehow setup wrong in layout tab in the model settings but I can't for the life of me work out how they should be setup in order for them to come on when i apply and on affect. I don't need them to dim or do anything fancy, I just need to them to come on during the static part of my display and go off during the musical part. Any advice welcome. Thanks
