export xlights to lor 4.2.x

Hello

I tried to use xlights to define effects not available in Pixel editor  of LOR by exporting in LOR sequence format.  this causes errors when loading in the SE, some "  unexpected end of  "   error.

Exporting as a clipboard  and importing into a sequence in SE works ok without errors.

What could I be doing wrong. Need some kind of special setting to be correct?

simple setup of e megatree 16 x 50   16 universes.

Setup is ok on both programs , as the same tree can be driven from Xlights  and without problems  from LOR  SE and PE

It seems the people that have the most trouble with xLights are the ones trying to use LOR and LSP.  We do our best to reverse engineer their formats but its not like they publish them nor do they give you any help when their sequencer can't open a file we created.  I've seen it where LOR will open one of my exported sequences just fine but not a file I exported using another users setup.  If the clipboard works then go with that.  I've seen that error message and its really no help to let us know what they don't like.  One thing is don't use special characters in your model names.   That's just asking for problems.

thank you, I will take the lclipboard route, it works.  Takes one or two minor steps, no problem.

For the rest transfering effects goes rather well. I create effects for 20 seconds. load clipboard into SE. Migrate to PE, and save the effect in favorites with some description.Works rather nice this way.
Was just curious if I was doing wrong somehow.
