All,
So far in my sequencing, the only items I have imported from an LOR LMS file into xLights (using the Import > Import Effects approach) have been things that were pure white, red, and green. xLights seems to assign and understand those colors just fine. That has worked out great because the elements I was importing were non-RGB, simple LED strings that just need to light... and they do!
My question now is... I have an old sequence that I would like to import effects from into a new RGB sequence and I would like to assign the RGB code for warm white in LOR for those channels so that when it comes into xLights through the Import > Import Effects approach, the color in the xLights sequence will be warm white (which for me in xLights to get the proper output to the lights is R: 255, G: 103, B: 23). I noticed that, when I try to set a non-standard color in LOR and then import it to xLights, there is some Lost In Translation going on and the color doesn't come into xLights correctly (I can't seem to click on the element cell and have select the color to see what it interpreted the RGB code as). These elements for this sequence have a TON of effects and I would hate to have to go and change the color one by one on all of them for every element.
Any ideas? Again, pure red, green, blue, and white seem to work... I assume that those of you importing complex .SUP files with millions of colors must be having some luck, no?
I should add that I was last using LOR 3.9.0 Advanced and in that software, you click on the channel/element and tell it what the color should look like along the timeline where you put effects... if that makes sense.
Thanks,
-Louie
