Xlights/Nutcracker 4.0 Newbie Starburst

I have several startbursts; 8 Spoke 30px per spoke. If I use the star model I get a diamond.
Is there a starburst model I am missing? If not How do you make one?

I would be interested in this also.

I too am a newbie and this will be my first year.  I am looking at building some Starburst's as they are fairly simple.  I am looking at which software package I will use and have narrowed it down to xLights or Vixen.  Vixen have a Starburst module in their software.

I like xLights, if a module could be developed for xLights it would be awesome.

Draw a custom model, done.  Take you about 10 minutes in excel.  At this time no other sequencer can touch that ability to custom draw an element any shape and numbering sequence you can make up.

I included a sample model layout, however mine are much smaller.

I've used both Vixen and xLights. I know them both well and I can tell you xlights is much better. Vixen does some great things and more refined than xlights. But xlights has more features. Personally I can look past the pretty and care more about the end result.

However, try them both. You be the judge.

Start with page 43 of the Xlights manual it will explain how to do a custom model..    I have several. A flame for my candles. Snowflakes. And the stars on my mega trees and will be doing more.  If you don't have excel the whole thing can be done in Xlights
